www.topgear.com The team conclude their attempt to cheat a roadside speed camera, this time using a TVR Tuscan S. From the BBC.

No this theory is true and has been proven, if the veicle is travelling past a traditional white flash Gatso camera at over 171mph the Camera will not flash. I am though pretty sure that the newer infa red cameras do not have this problem.
That’s not James. It’s another bloke called Jason Dawe. He used to do a ‘how to buy a certain used car’ segment on the first series of Top Gear. He left the show after the first series and James replaced him.
Yeah, and they’re all part of the crew
jeez James May has lost a lot of weight and aged quite alot since this episode.
I think they must have tried that again… all equipment fails every now and then. I don’t really believe the theory either.
it will go off. Trust me…
you could be going 200 mph and it still will.
i dont believe this for a second.
I’m an Aussie and my Jap car destroys all holdens and fords without issue.
nz is full of fags u idiots. Aussies are way better and so are euro cars
@fastasaninja its the bloke they had before james may.. ive never actually heard him speak lol.. glad they got rid of him
shame,I had a 1997 Mitsubishi GSR factory theyre a 1800 DOHC Turbo,I had it stroked and worked was a 2.1 litre with a td06 turbo and internals done and i beat a speed camera at over 220km’s,shutter of the camera went to fast for the camera,i beat the speed camera with a JAPA! haha theyre using flash as poncy european super cars! i beat it in a mitsi GSR! New Zealand Street Scene reppn!
I want another test… try again to see if it’s the real deal.
There’s like 5 people in the crowd :L
@oitchy WTF?
James may
@GuitarmasterSK 273.5-ish, but ur close enough
That fat bloke was replaced in later series by a very grumpy girl called Jane May. Curiously, for a “motoring” programme, she’s a crap driver, and is also far too ugly for television.
Did anyone notice how rapidly they all aged as the series’ went on… perhaps something to do with all that top gear?
0:57 whos that big guy
Put swastika on these sticks.
Put swastika on these sticks.
170 mp/h = 272 km/h
170mp/h ? ….. = cca 315km/h …When?, on the street? Do not forget that on the road most of the detectors using the flash. In this case the flash was not used. It is better if you use the PHOTOBLOCKER
Has anyone else noticed the way Richard Hamond says fast in the first series, he says it differently than in later series.
lol im do glad tht fat boring barsterd fucked off
woow, look at the audience…. or the lack of it… hahaha top gear throwback, nice
That’s fucking excellent thinking!
