I disagree with getting more interesting shots by visitign more interesting shots. Sure, you will shoot more interesting shots, but are you really being honest to yourself? Personally I believe that a photographer is better of with challenges, it forces you to really analyze the world around you, to get a better understanding, to train your eye. For example, challenge yourself to take an amazing shot in your backyard.
