A continuation of my own vlogs (video blogs) that started off as a one-time “thank you” to Imogen for her inspiring vlogs. My third installment is again well-summarized by the subtitle on the opening screen – I’ve taken “one giant leap”.

You’re a cool, genuine guy.
I like you.
Thank you very much for taking a moment to comment. I am with you – Ellipse is yet another great disc from an otherworldly talent. I’m still listening to it all the time – heavy rotation, as it were. You know as I do how inspiring she is, I know her energy (as it came through in the v-blogs) helped launch a thousand creative ships … my little studio dream being just one. Take it easy!
Thanks for the thoughts, I’ve taken them to heart. Now I’ll go and hug the fam! Cheers …
I just watched all of Imogens vblogs again for the second time, because I cannot get over how much in love I am with Ellipse!
I’m SO incredibly happy to hear that there was some inspiration from her blogs and that you actually did something with it.
THAT is why I love music so much.
cheers!
best wishes to you and your wife and those two adorable children!
Hey, that was an excellent video. Keep it up. And hugs and best wishes to you and your fam.
If my video blogs have but one message it is that typically you can have whatever you want if you’re ready to game plan and have an amount of patience commensurate with your situation. I hope you make your studio wish come true, no matter how long it takes.
Oh, and when you get it, please write to me and share with me your recording secrets.
Your studio is beautiful, I wish I had one.
I appreciate the kind words. I also appreciate you (in a roundabout way) introducing me to the 30 Imogen videos you’ve posted! I started with “Imogen Heap and Jeff Beck – Rollin and Tumblin live at Ronnie Scott’s 2007 from BBC 4 TV special”. So cool to see Imogen pushing her envelope like that. On to the next one …
this is really inspiring! congratulations and i wish imogen gets to see this to realize how inspiring she is! Congratulations again! (: and good luck on your journey!
Hey Mike, thanks for sharing. I’m digging the journey of you and this studio space. BTW, I had to watch the keyboard/mouse switch 5 times before I was convinced the second set was actually different and new.
Hey man… Great story. I hope everything works out for you in the end…. take it easy and rock on!
Mike — awesome. Very cool, love to check it out sometime
(Big Imogen Heap fan here too!)
