whats wrong with nvidia 275 or nvidia 295? one or two of those will do the trick.
they should have refined the 295’s abit made them with the 275 internals instead of the 260 internals. And they should have added 3way support on those. instead of regular sli. So an 6gpu setup that works. surely that would be an better way to spend money.
the 295’s drawback is the new version only has 2dvi’s the old has 2dvi’s and hdmi port. So they took one port off. Then they made the card single board. Not good… the old version was allot better. redefine that version to get more cash.
i still insist the card is slow. It does not perform any better then the nvidia 260. And the nvidia 260 is slow. Thats why we prefer today nvidia 275 3way sli or 295quad sli. Becouse of the power you need to get to game alright and do intensive 3d rendering.

yes agreed. they make the card run. They make it run like an freaking bult of lightning through 3dmark. Thats about all they are going for. Benchmarking software. Nvidia on the other hand says fuck this we are ganna make an card that will run the apps and games you want. For intense allot of work apps dont run on ati but on nvidia. Due to the drivers being gay.
highend? i would say no… thats not high end. Core i7 975 with 12GB of dominator and three nvidia 295’s in quadsli + dedicated physx. watercooled with 6 solid state drives in an raid 10 array. And then two corsair 1000hx psu’s when we are talking that kind of performence we are starting to get to what high end means.
i use my memory without no problem. i know you have an hardtime to believe it. But read up on vista and win7 memory management. Please… Dont sit there and look like an tool.
thank you sir… ati is faster then nvidia true. but atis driver sucks ass like you said. Thats why i perfer nvidia that works all day long.
nvidia has allot more stable drivers there are allot less trouble with those. ATI Radeon yes i know its ATI that makes it but those have allot more problems with softwares. You want nvidia if you wanna know it will run. I still perfer 3way on the 275s or do an 295quad sli setup with dedicated nvidia physX card. Lots of more power then ati would supply.
