sx120 is better

This guy has no idea on what he’s talking about… the microphone is on the front, that’s the speaker… but probably the second be compact camera around; first is probably the G9

This camera takes horizontal and vertical videos BUT…….??????how do I flip the vertical videos so I can watch them without laying on my side.

Samsung is good, just depends on your own personal preferences. I value the best possible quality image, plenty of easy battery power and reasonable purchase price. I’m satisfied enough (not 100%) with the Canon sx100 is I’m currently using but now looking for something with HD.
Canon is a good camera but they have better than this one…
I will buy the 12x new model.
I was curious of other company`s if they are as good like samsung?
I read yesterday in Consumer Reports where they rated the image quality of this camera only “fair”???? The most frustrating feature for me is when using the movie mode sometimes I’m so involved in capturing the moment before it’s gone or concentrating on getting good composition that I often accidentally hit the wheel dial around the func. set button and that changes to compact mode which totally ruins the size and quality of the video when it is downloaded. NOT GOOD!

They will give the company release blurb about the product, an in-house review, and then open it up to user-written reviews, for every make of camera. There are winners and there are dogs for cameras too, and this site and their rating system makes it clear.
